Some drivers will try to make the GC controller act exactly like a 360 controller. This game actually has really good controller support, it's just getting it to auto-matically see certain setups is much more difficult for a game to do than Xinput (360 controller). Any of them technically work, but it takes fanagling. There is a guide on Smash Ladder that I prefer which involves using v-joy and another program to manage it. There are several ways to get the correct drivers.

The second is to use WiiU mode (which I think the 2 adapter also always uses? unsure here). You also need to get the up to date drivers on the Mayflash website. In the controller menu you need to make sure that all of the available options (one is called Mayflash) are checked. On the four port adapter, there is a switch to change it to PC-mode that uses DInput. There are two ways to go about it, I think. Which Mayflash adapter do you have, 2 or 4 port? This changes things. If you figure something out, let me know. I have had no success fixing these hitches. Thus far I've gotten most of my buttons to work properly, but my character rolls whenever I tilt my analog stick and the C-stick axis' are switched around.

Here's what I've figured out so far: You can create a new profile by going into Appdata/LowRoaming/Ludosity/controllerprofiles and creating a new.

Been struggling with the same thing for a while, and unfortunately it doesn't seem like anyone's willing to provide an answer.
